JACKSON FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

2 JACKSON DRIVE, JACKSON, NJ 08527

Dear Alan,

Thank you so very much for the inspiring concert last Saturday.  It’s hard to describe just how beautiful and meaningful this experience was for us all.  You brought our Yamaha to life - we had never yet heard it played as a fine concert instrument.  Your exquisite performance had the audience wide-eyed.  Your explanations helped us appreciate what we were about to hear and to gain much more from the music.  You made us feel so warmly connected with the composers and music that we were utterly caught up in its beauty.  No wonder the audience hurried to claim autographed CD’s of their own!  I know that I cherish my copy.

And all this so clearly came from a generous heart!  We cannot thank you enough for this offering to the Jackson community.  Thank you for all your work in preparing the program and setting up the viewing screen.  And thank you for bringing to us the beauty of your Tai Chi master; his movements assured us that music offers an occasion for the soul to soar.

We have had much feedback from the members of the audience.  They are on a ‘high’ after experiencing this extraordinary afternoon with you.  One lady told me that she felt she had been on a spiritual retreat.  Others said that they must join the Jackson Friends of the Library.

Again, thank you - from all the Jackson Friends and from myself in particular.

Yours,

Elaine Grist
